Statement of ValuesEntrepreneurs regularly face a variety of challenges and must make decisions that affect their businesses. Each time an entrepreneur makes a decision, be it small or complex, this choice is based on personal values and ethics. In a strategic planning exercise, the Board of Directors of Synaxis identified a number of values, along with the beliefs and principles that they represent. We would like to share these with all Synaxis members. SupportDeveloping and managing one's own business are difficult tasks for an entrepreneur. Synaxis constitutes a pool of expertise to which all members contribute, and from which they can benefit. Members are invited to consider their colleagues' needs and to offer assistance, collaboration and support. Such support generates benefits and success. It's everybody's concern. CommitmentEach member has a contribution to make towards motivating his or her fellow entrepreneurs. Belonging to Synaxis should translate into action in and commitment to the activities of the organization. OpennessSynaxis members come from diverse cultures and walks of life, which gives the network a great richness. Being understanding of and interested in other members, while respecting diversity, is an asset for the development of each of our businesses. SharingAn entrepreneur's life is marked by successes, mistakes, joys, pains, and the search for solutions. Involvement in discussions and sharing on the subject of our personal experiences as entrepreneurs gives us a greater understanding of our actions. IntegrityThe business world presents many challenges. For Synaxis, honesty, neutrality, and fairness are among the values of successful businesses. They are essential for developing trusting relationships that strengthen the bonds between our members, with our clients, and with our partners. Social responsibilitySynaxis members are conscious that a business, in addition to having objectives of financial profitability, should integrate social, environmental, and economic issues of concern into its activities and into its interactions with its partners.
